CMOC Mine Company is a large modern mine enterprise engaging in open-pit molybdenum-tungsten mining and a "Comprehensive Utilization Demonstration Base of Molybdenum, Tungsten and Iron Resources in Luanchuan, Henan Province", which is jointly confirmed by Ministry of Land and Resources and Ministry of Finance. The company, founded in August 1988, goes through underground mining, integrated underground and open-pit mining and open-pit mining stages, and its open-pit mining capacity was up to 30000t/day in June 2006. Currently, it has 690 employees, including over 100 technicians in geological, mining, measuring, electrical and mechanical and other disciplines. With abundant technical strength and advanced equipment, it has over 100 advanced domestic equipment for large punching, shovel loading, transportation and ore crushing. Its original value of fix assets is up to 1.44 billion yuan and net value is 419 million yuan as off the end of July 2020.

CMOC Mineral Separation Company I, located in Lengshui Town (190km away from southwest of Luoyang City) of Luanchuan County and Nannihu and Sandaozhuang mining area (hinderland of Luanchuan molybdenum field) is a branch of CHINA MOLYBDENUM CO., LTD.

　　CMOC Mineral Separation Company II, a molybdenum mineral separation branch subordinated to CMOC, locates in Majuan Village (23km away from the county), Chitudian Town, Luanchuan County. The company, founded in May 1980, has 14,500t/day of existing production scale, including annual output of 12,000t fine molybdenum ore and that of 1,100t fine copper ore. Its main product is fine molybdenum ore and byproduct is fine copper ore. With 7 workshops and 5 departments, it has 777 registered employees (including 11 people at the back line and 11 to be retired) and 37 section cadres (11 principal and 26 deputy) as of the end of October. 　

　　Mineral Separation Company III, one of the main molybdenum-copper mineral separation companies subordinated to CMOC, has 611 employees currently, 4 production workshops (crushing, grinding and floatation, sand water and power) and 5 administrative departments. The existing production system was built in October 2006 and put into production on June 20, 2007. With 276 million yuan of fixed assets, it produces over 14,000 fine molybdenum ore and over 2,300 fine copper ore annually. Its specific production process is shown as follows:

　　CHINA MOLYBDENUM CO., LTD. Tungsten Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CMOC, was started in September 2015. As a comprehensive application demonstration engineering of low grade scheelite, the project is Luanchuan sub-engineering of comprehensive application demonstration base for molybdenum, tungsten and iron resources, which is jointly approved by former Ministry of Land and Resources and Ministry of Finance. The project takes low-grade complex scheelite from CMOC molybdenum tailings as raw material and adopts new environmental protection process of comprehensive tungsten smelting recycling of "soda pressure leaching-alkali extraction-evaporation for coarse molybdenum-tungsten separation, ion exchange for deep tungsten-molybdenum separation and evaporation and crystallization" (jointly researched and developed with Central South University for 5 years) to recycle and get ammonium paratungstate, ammonium molybdate and phosphorus ore powder comprehensively. The new process and technology are awarded by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association as reaching "international leading level" and "the First Prize of China Industry-University-Research Cooperative and Innovative Achievement". With 2 invention patents, it is awarded with the first prize (one) of Hunan Science and Technology Progress Award. Its approved budget is 126.9084 million yuan and design scale is annual output of 10,000t ammonium paratungstate and 1,000t ammonium molybdate. 　　The project scale is implemented in three stages: 　　With 109.8 million yuan of investment, Phase I (September 2015) constructed production lines with annual output of 5,000t ammonium paratungstate and 500t ammonium molybdate. The project completed construction and started production in March 2016.

CMOC Tungsten Separation Company I is a branch subordinated to CHINA MOLYBDENUM CO., LTD. Construction project of the company is a key project approved by Henan Province Development and Reform Commission and one of the key engineering projects listed by Luoyang City.

The company, located in Qinghetang Village, Chitudian Town, Luanchuan County, is a branch subordinated to CMOC and one of the three scheelite production lines of CMOC, with scheelite output accounting for about 55% of total scheelite output of Group Company. The company has 43,533m2 floor area and 14,618m2 building area.

　　Luanchuan County Dadongpo Tungsten-molybdenum Co., Ltd., a molybdenum-tungsten separation enterprise, locates in Qinghetang Village, Chitudian Town, Luanchuan County, about 15km from the northwest of Luanchuan County. Covering 34,000m2 land in total, the company, founded in May 1983, was a former collectively-owned enterprise of the town. It was changed from the former collectively-owned enterprise of the town to privately-owned joint-stock enterprise in May 2003. It was held by CHINA MOLYBDENUM CO., LTD. in accordance with the enterprise restructuring spirit of "Three-change and four-constant" of Luoyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to effectively integrate Luanchuan molybdenum advantage and set foot on sustainable development road in December 2005. According to enterprise development requirement, new tungsten separation production line was added on the basis of original molybdenum separation in 2018 to become the only simultaneous molybdenum-tungsten separation enterprise of CMOC.

8km away from Sandaozhuang tungsten-molybdenum ore, Luanchuan County Jiuyang Mining Co., Ltd. locates in Chitudian Village, Chitudian Town, 9km away from north of Luanchuan County. Located in Funiu Mountain hinderland with obvious mountain land feature, it borders with Daqinggou on the east, Lengshui Town on the west, Chengguan on the south and Shizimiao on the north. With altitude elevation between 880m and 920m, the region features pointed peak, narrow ridge, steeper north slope and moderate south slope. With distinctive climates in four seasons, it has green mountains in spring and summer, fruitful branches in autumn and snow coverage in winter. 24km long Beigouhe River flows to Yihe River from north to south to confine Jiuyang Company to the west bank and accomplishes 33 years entrepreneurial journey of hardworking and development of Jiuyang Company. 　　

As a privately-owned enterprise, Luanchuan County Sanqiang Molybdenum-tungsten Co., Ltd., a holding company of CMOC, is mainly a molybdenum-dominated mineral separation enterprise, accompanied by flotation of fine iron and copper ore. Luanchuan County Sanqiang Molybdenum-tungsten Co., Ltd. controls Luanchuan County Zhonghe Metallurgy Furnace Charge Co., Ltd., which is also subordinated to CMOC. Except for separate finance accounting, they have the same set of management system. Covering 205,000m2 lands, the company, located in Longwangmiao Village, Lengshui Town, Luanchuan County, has 560 million fixed assets and 260 employees. The company has 7,700t/day (including Sanqiang 2,700t/day and Zhonghe 5,000t/day) of design production scale of mineral separation, processes 9,000t ore on a daily basis and produces 6,200t quality fine molybdenum ore and 1,500t fine copper ore annually. The company has three workshops (Ore Crushing Workshop, Mineral Separation Workshop and Utility Tailings Discharge Workshop) and five departments (Comprehensive Office, Safety and Environmental Protection Department, Production Equipment Department, Finance Department and Quality and Technology Department). Founded in September 1971, Smelting Company (subordinated to CMOC) has annual output of 36,600t molybdenum oxide, 27,000t ferro-molybdenum and 36,000t sulfuric acid. The company adheres to the idea of scientific and technical innovation, passionate in job and striving for excellence, and obtains honors in safety and environmental protection several times. The company mainly has such three production lines as molybdenum oxide roasting, ferro-molybdenum smelting and fume acid making.

With annual processing of 20,000t fine molybdenum ore and annual output of 18,000t ferro-molybdenum, it is a company engaging in smelting, deep processing and technical research and development of molybdenum series products and production and sales of byproduct sulfuric acid, and its main products include ferro-molybdenum, molybdenum oxide, molybdenum oxide ball and sulfuric acid.
