With 1.505 billion yuan of registered capital, Xinjiang CMOC Mining Co., Ltd., founded in August 2010 in Hami City, Xinjiang is a holding subsidiary of CHINA MOLYBDENUM CO., LTD. and a large enterprise engaging mainly in development of mineral resources (molybdenum, copper, lead, zinc, gold and nickel) and sales of mineral products.

　　With 508,000t proved molybdenum metal capacity and 0.115% average grade, Hami East Gobi molybdenum ore, owned by Xinjiang CMOC Mining Co., Ltd. is an extra large porphyry molybdenum ore and listed as a significant achievement of national 358 ore prospecting project. The ore, applicable for large scale open-pit mining, features large reserves, high grade, easy to grade, high mineral separation recycling rate and shallow burying, possessing great economic value. East Gobi molybdenum ore project is a key project of Henan Province industry supporting Xinjiang's development, Xinjiang "the Twelfth Five-year Plan" and Hami region.

　　Currently, East Gobi molybdenum ore has obtained mining permit from Ministry of Natural Resources, with separation scale of 30,000t/day. With over 827 million yuan of accumulated investment, it launches temporary facility of mining area, erection of power transmission line necessary for infrastructure construction period, 35KV substation in mining area, external road, pipe trench excavation and other fundamental construction work in terms of mine construction, and completes engineering geological survey, preliminary design and various mineral separation tests, equipment investigation and model selection in terms of design.

　　Currently, East Gobi molybdenum ore project is at suspended stage temporarily due to environmental protection.
