CMOC Mineral Separation Company II, a molybdenum mineral separation branch subordinated to CMOC, locates in Majuan Village (23km away from the county), Chitudian Town, Luanchuan County. The company, founded in May 1980, has 14,500t/day of existing production scale, including annual output of 12,000t fine molybdenum ore and that of 1,100t fine copper ore. Its main product is fine molybdenum ore and byproduct is fine copper ore. With 7 workshops and 5 departments, it has 777 registered employees (including 11 people at the back line and 11 to be retired) and 37 section cadres (11 principal and 26 deputy) as of the end of October.

　　Mineral Separation Company II has mature production process, rich mineral separation technology and experience, advanced production equipment and high automation. Ore to be processed by the company is from Sandaozhuang mining area of CMOC, ore conveying system adopts automatic belt conveying, ore crushing process adopts two-section-one-loop process and crushing equipment brings in Sweden Sandvik cone crushing machine and advanced domestic vibrating screen. Ore grinding grading adopts two-section-one-loop process and ￠4.8*7m overflow ball mill and ￠660*6 hydrocyclone constitute the loop. Flotation equipment adopts advanced domestic flotation column and U.S. Vimk 130m³ flotation machine, and high quality fine molybdenum ore is obtained through adding kerosene, oil No. 2 and other mineral separation drugs and flotation method. Currently, grade of fine molybdenum ore can be up to above 51% on average after years of technical exploration and process improvement. The entire production system of the company adopts automatic control system (FCS) to conduct concentrated control and sub-process management of the plant to realize automatic sequence of all processes and automatic control of process. Its economic and technical indexes take the lead in the industry in China.

　　Mineral Separation Company II recycles fine copper ore from cleaner tailings of molybdenum successfully through independent research and development in terms of integrated recycling. With grade of fine copper ore around 20%, additional value of the product is increased and the industrial chain is stretched. The company enhances environmental protection management and returned production water is recycled completely to realize zero sewage discharge and protect local ecological environment effectively.
